__NOTOC__ }} Wellesley Farms Railroad Station is a rail station on the MBTA Commuter Rail system in Wellesley, Massachusetts. The station has been listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places since 1986.〔 The station is located on 90 Croton Street. Service to the station is provided by the Framingham/Worcester Line from Boston to Framingham and Worcester, Massachusetts both inbound and outbound.〔(MBTA > Commuter Rail > Wellesley Farms ). MBTA. Retrieved on 2007-11-09.〕 ==History== The first rail stop in Wellesley Farms opened in the 1830s as a flag stop on the Boston and Worcester Railroad, which was later merged into the Boston and Albany Railroad. The first station was called Rice's Crossing. Wellesley Farms Railroad Station, which was designed by Henry Hobson Richardson prior to his death in 1886, opened to replace Rice's Crossing in 1890. The station was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.〔
